What is a meals :-
Meals means a kind of dish that has eaten according to a certain time or given to someone else.Which is very much discussed in the catering industry.’And it has followed in homes too. Tried to explain. So that you can understand easily. And there are also types of meals. There are 9 types of meals that we are going to talk about.
How many types of meals plan in hotel industry :-
There are 9 types of meals plan in hotel industry.
Early morning tea (EMT) : –
Often these orders has placed with room service in which you have the option of tea. And the coffee that has served with yoga cookies. This early morning tea service is very fast. And the time of early morning tea is between 4:00 and 6:00 in the morning.
Breakfast (Types of meals plan) : –
This is the first meal of the day in the whole day which we know as breakfast and one thing you should also know that breakfast is the most nutritional food. It has served by a coffee shop in a hotel industry or restaurant. If any guest comes to the hotel then he has a routine and first of all he has not given breakfast so that he feels good first thing in the morning. The normal timing of breakfast is between 7:00 am to 10:30 am.
Now there are also types of breakfast which has given in any hotel industry or restaurant or at home itself. So this breakfast is of four types.
a) Continental breakfast: –
Continental breakfast is a kind of light meal after which you will feel good till lunch. In continental breakfast, as breakfast, you have given many types of juice, bread, toast, jam and after that you are given hot tea and hot coffee in the form of beverages.
b) American breakfast: –
In American breakfast, you have given juice and in the form of cereals (cornflakes / porridge / oatmeal / wheat flakes) and then eggs (boiled / omelet / poached / fried / scrambled) are given and bread and toast are also given.
c) English breakfast: –
English breakfast is an elaborate breakfast. English breakfast has found in many forms and variations. In English breakfast, you are given Fruit juices Fresh or Canned (Pineapple. Orange, Apple). But Which is given in Juice Glass. Stewed fruits are then given and the fruits are cut into small pieces and cooked in sugar syrup flavored with clove and cinnamon.
It is served in a cocktail cup with a quarter plate as underliner and the cutlery provided as tea spoon.

d) Indian breakfast (popular in India): –
Indian breakfast which is considered very famous in the catering industry and mainly in North India and South India Indian breakfast is more popular. If we talk about North India, then in North India Puri Bhaji and Aloo Paratha with curd and chickpeas are more. Lives in the headlines and if we talk about South India, then Idli and Dosa with Sambar and Chutney is more popular in South India.
3. Lunch (Types of meals plan) : –

7. Supper : –
Supper is a late night meal served at around 2:00 pm in which light meals like sandwiches are served without heavy meals.
8. Brunch : –
Brunch is a type of food that is designed to make a heavy meal called Brunch to skip an afternoon snack so that you don’t feel hungry in the afternoon. Which is more popular on the last day of the week. The timing of this meal is between 12:00 am to 1:00 pm.
9. Elevenses : –
It is any meal taken at the eleventh hour the day generally after skipping the breakfast. The food items are generally bite sized.
